User Settings and Data

Posted on by 5

I'm sure this is simple, but my Google-Fu is failing me this morning. We have a user placed on a new machine who is now getting reports that are just a bit off from what they should be. The fields are rounded improperly, not formatted correctly, etc. They run just fine on his previous machine. I found something speaking about templates being kept in Appdata>Local>Temp, but I'm not seeing anything in there that seems relevant. I haven't supported this app before so am unsure where to look. Any help is most appreciated. Thanks!

From where you are exporting? Which GP window you are using? Are you using smartlist ? If possible share screen shot of window and export result.

The local desktop client. It's basically a dump of all transactions for a given time period. It's the export to Excel that is problematic. Values are getting very rounded extremely (538,076 becomes 538). I found a couple things regarding templates on the client machine, but they don't seem to be present.

How do your users access GP?  Is the client on the local desktop, or do they access it virtually either by rdp or vmware?  What report(s) is your user having problems with?
