    Yes Cecile,

It is creating the corresponding GL Journal Entry for that.

    Ashok

    Hi Ashok,

Did it automatically create a GL Journal Entry?  There should be an equivalent void journal entry in GL.

    Cecile

    Thanks Cecile,

    For your very useful information.

I think I am able to do the transaction VOID for the posted transaction via "taRMVoidTransaction" eConnect. It is working fine at my side.

    Regards,

    Ashok

As Cecile mentioned, the short answer to your question you cannot void posted sales transaction via eConnect.

I had the same issue for one our clients where a large batch mistakenly posted and I had to run a macro within GP to void all transactions in that batch.

    Hi Ashok,

Voiding transactions in AR module must happen within Dynamics GP not thru eConnect.

Please go to Sales >> Transactions >> Posted Transactions. Enter the customer ID in the Customer ID field, select document type in the Document Type field, and then enter the document number in the Number field.  Make sure the Click Void Date and Posting Date are the same to avoid reconciliation issues.

If it is unposted - you can go  Sales >> Transactions >> Transaction Entry to Delete the record.

You can read some details here..https://support.microsoft.com/en-za/help/950706/how-to-void-or-delete-sales-documents-in-receivables-management-and-sa

    Regards,

    Cecile
