and is this step is necessary to do it ?
anyone can help?
thank you
Hi Joshua,
You can find the Client role identifier information using the command Get-AdfsClient on PowerShell.
The above is necessary to Allow Mobile clients that use OAuth to identify through you AD FS, if you have mobile clients accessing your CRM application.
For more information, please go through the following articles,
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/module/adfs/get-adfsclient?view=win10-ps
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customerengagement/on-premises/deploy/configure-the-ad-fs-server-for-claims-based-authentication#for-windows-server-2016-run-a-cmdlet

Hi Protim Choudhary,
thank you for your reply.
we don't deploy mobile client for CRM application
we just deploy the CRM application, claim based authentication and IFD
is that step still necessary to do it?
Yes, it is important to configure this step as there are other client applications such as Outlook for Dynamics, Developer tools and Service desk client apart from the Mobile clients that requires OAuth.
Although, you can perform this step anytime when necessary.
