I have customer accounts with a primary contact listed in the account. The primary contact has a phone number and e mail address against it.
If I then add that account to a marketing list, the primary contact name is shown but the primary contact e mail address is blank? Is there any reason why the primary contact e mail address is not showing in the marketing list?
Did you get instead the company email address into the marketing list? I think if you built up an account based marketing then only the company email address is needed for it.

Please check the design of the view in the Marketing List form.
If the column of the view does not reflect the relationship between the two entities or there is some additional filter criteria affecting the column, the field cannot be shown.
Also, please check if the field can be shown normally when selecting the same view from the views of Account.
If it can be shown here but cannot be shown in the member list, it is not a phenomenon that should occur.
