Personalised columns aren't saved

Hi

I hope you can help me out with this.

I am experiencing issues with filters (personalised columns in grids) in Dynamics AX 2012 R2.

In a window grid, when I add a filter by personalizing the grid it is added as normally. But when I close AX the next time it opens, my personalised columns are gone.

I have tried deleting usage data and also tried resetting usage data, but this only seems to work shortly meaning after a day or two no filters are saved in AX.

I've tried through System Administration----->Users--->Go to particular User---->click Options in action pane-->go to usage data-->All usage data---> and here selecting and deleting the forms that are having problems

try to goto the dynamics ax folder and delete all *.auc files and restart the server, may be it will solve your problem

Maybe somebody else goes and deletes usage data in the same way as you did.

    Hi Kunal

    Thank you for your reply.

Is it in my "own" folder (C:\Users\UserID\AppData\Local) you mean. Because I have tried this already, but I haven't restarted server afterwards. Maybe I should try this.

Is this with all columns, or just product / storage / tracking dimensions?  If you're personalizing dimensions to the list pages, and not using the Dimensions display button in the ribbon, they will disappear when you close the form and re-open it.

You mention filters... Your filters will disappear when closing a form. Only way to autotrigger them when opening a form is to use favorites and edit the default filter.

Right click your favorites and select manage, the amend the query for your favorite.

If you change your dimensions display, then remember to check the save checkbox on the bottom.

    Hi

Thanks for the replies so far. But maybe I am not clear enough. It is not forms (or at least what I call forms), but what AX is called "ListPageGrid".

One example is Accounts receivable --> Customer --> All customers. All customers is a ListPageGrid. What I try to do is right click somewhere in the grid, and press Personalize. Then I press Add fields. Choose what I want to add, and then I close the form and reopens it as AX suggests. For a day or so maybe fields will remain, but then they disappear. Some users don't get this 'far'. When they close AX and they open it again (can be 2 min after), then fields are gone.

    Thanks

Hi Kterkildsen I'm experiencing the same issue. Just wondering if you eventually found out the solution to your issue?
