Report on all those who were sent an invitation but did not register for the event

Hi all

I have had a request for an event attendance report that shows all contacts who attended (check-in), registered (event registration) or were invited to attend (non-responders) but never registered. Most of this is fine but I am really struggling to find the non-responders.

To try to see those who have been invited but not registered I have tried using advanced find with no luck. I have also tried to create a segment based off people who received the event invitation email but had not created a registration for the event but I can not seem to get it to work.

Has anyone else had this query, appreciate any and all suggestions?

Thanks
Ian

This worked a treat, thanks. Just for anyone else who is looking at this. You need to add a contact block to the segment too or the number of members will be wrong. In my case just added an "and also" contact status is active.

Thanks Leah, this is useful to know. It would however, be overwritten if a new registration is created for a new event from what I can see. So while handy, it won't retain a record of who didn't attend. You're advice on the segment below is perfect though.

    Hi Ian,

If you want to create a segment based off people who received the event invitation email but had not created a registration for the event, you can set as following screenshot:

    Adding two behavior block:

    Hi Ian,

You can refer the following link to show invited contacts in the event:

(+) Show invited contacts on event - Dynamics 365 Marketing Forum Community Forum

one new 1:N relationship between the Event and Contact entities has been created, so there is one lookup field related to event on the contact entity.

And contact has 1:N relationship with Event Registration, if one contact register one event, one Event Registration record will be created.

So you can use the new lookup field and Event Registration as conditions to filter contacts.

    (1)Lookup field is not null

    (2)Related Event Registration is 0
