Blurr or Hide some specific emails on a Case

Hello We have a support team working with Cases in dynamics and multiple people requesting this have their access in dynamics to this Case and everyone see all in the Timeline. The issue is that sometimes the support involves more people where they share sensitive information about the Case. Is it possible in any way to hide specific emails, or show them only to a specific security role?

Thanks

    Hi CEklx,

Unfortunately, the security role just can control access records based on five level privilege.

But it can’t just hide specific records.

    Regards,

Okay, so no way to say, this email should only be visible to a specific role because it's extremly sensetive? Somehow

    Setup a Business Unit structure.

Create a Team in a Business Unit away from your other users

Assign a Security Role to the Team that has enough privileges to own the Activities (Email etc)

Those that you want to hide assign them the Team as the Owner of the record (e.g. manually or create a field that when updated triggers a workflow to assign the Owner).

Depending of existing setup you may need to update existing Security Roles or move users out of the root Business Unit e.g. remove Organization level privileges and/or move users to a Child Business Unit

And, for Case, edit the Relationship between Case and Activity and set it so the it does not Cascade Ownership (otherwise when someone changes the owner of the case they become the owner of the activities and you probably don't want that).
