Is anyone aware of a solution to prevent incorrect Release Products(Items) being added to a sales order for certain customers, or to only allows Release Products(Items) to be sold to certain customers.
There is no out-of-the-box configuration to achieve this requirement. You need to customize by introducing a new table to capture customer, item and allow/prevent information, followed by applying lookup filter on item field in order product entity forms.
