How to post Transfer Orders through Logic App

Hello Community

I am using integration to create Transfer order to move my inventory, however, through integration I can only create the Transfer Order and not Post it.

The only way I am thinking of is using Logic App to Post the Transfer Orders, however I never build such app before. Do we know how to do it. An example/code will be highly appreciated.

Thanks.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Extensol,

I am not sure if you can run any posting routines, other than table in Logic apps, Please refer the video below, in that video I tried to create a email notifications when any records is created through Customer Card in BC.

Thanks for your response Nitin. However, I am trting to find a way to Post a TO either through Logic Apps or PowerAutomate or Workflow (Not using BC APIs through an external interface)

Do you have any other ideas around?

In that case if you are using powerflows, you have to write a routine in a custom codeunit so that you can get the response based upon the request you sent from powerflow in to that codeunit, and take data and send that data directly using CU - 5704 or 5705, or you can do after insert the data into Transfer Header and Line from powerflow, take those data and send over to CU 5704 or 5705 using Job queue.

    Thanks.

Hi, if you are using Odata endpoint, you can try to use an OData V4 Bound Action.

    More details: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/business-central/dev-itpro/developer/devenv-creating-and-interacting-with-odatav4-bound-action

If you are using Power Automate, you can try to add custom execute actions.

    More details: https://yzhums.com/20111/

    Hope this helps as well.

    Thanks.

    Check this out: github.com/.../TransferOrderService

If you add an action to the page then you could also call that to post. Follow this to help with that: https://yzhums.com/20111/
