Uninstalled and re-installed 2019 Visual studio in DEV VM

Hi All,
 
Unfortunately, due to some reason one of my colleague uninstalled and re-installed Visual studio 2019 in cloud hosted environment DEV VM.  Could anyone provide us with complete steps on how to configure Visual studio correctly with D365 F&O. 
 
We don't have option to deallocate and create new VM as well due to project constraints.
