Hi, in our Aged Balances form, the Overdue Amount column is including the Current amount along with the actual overdue periods. We update the Aging Snapshot daily, I can confirm the totals in all periods are correct, so our aging period definitions are calculating the open transaction amounts correctly. Any ideas what's wrong here?
Agreed Ludwig Reinhard, unfortunately since I am not on IT staff, I cannot contact MS support directly; if I can figure out how to submit an issue on Lifecycle Services, I will log it there.
Hi D Papa,
I would try to open a support call with the MS support team. If you are 'lucky' then they accept this as a bug and might provide a fix. It's worth trying in my opinion. Nothing to lose.
Best regards,
Ludwig
Hi Ludwig Reinhard,
Not sure what you mean by "personalization" - we are able to insert columns with Grid Options by right-clicking a column heading or using the ellipse at last column heading.
Anyway, thanks for posting that. Your screenshot shows Overdue Amount behavior consistent with ours, which I would consider to be a bug or design flaw, do you agree? An open transaction billed on 30 days terms of payment is Current from days 1-30 and becomes Overdue on day 31. So, transactions that are Current shouldn't be calculated in the Overdue Amount.
I searched this issue on Lifecycle Services and didn't find it mentioned specifically, but I also confirmed from the Service Update Availability schedule that we are not at the latest version. Would you suggest that I post this issue there anyway?
Thanks,
D Papa
Good morning D Papa,
I added this column through a personalization.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
Ludwig
Hi Ludwig Reinhard thanks for the screenshots, would you be able to add the Overdue Amount column to one of your systems, just to see if your result is consistent with ours? The one with blue highlighting would be a good example because there are amounts in a variety of columns.
Hello D Papa,
Below are two screenprints from two different systems
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
Ludwig
Hi Ludwig Reinhard,
No personalization that I know of, just inserted columns. I tried Personalize > Clear but the layout didn't change.
I'm wondering if D365's "overdue" criteria is different than what we would consider (any transactions with a due date on or later than the aging snapshot date).
Just out of curiosity can you post a screenshot of your form? I'd like to see how it is different.
Thanks,
D Papa
Hi D Papa,
My aging online form looks different.
Has somebody added the last column through a personalization?
Have you tried resetting the forms layout to the standard one by opening the personalization pane and then selecting 'clear'?
Best regards,
Ludwig
