Custom SMS Channel KPI's

Hello everyone,

I have created a custom SMS channel in the marketing module.

I would like to know after the customer journey is live and SMS's are sent to the customer if it is possible to keeps track of Text messages delivered?

For example, I would like to know the count of the SMS messages delivered vs the SMS messages that are not delivered?

Is there any option to view those insights using OOB Marketing or do I have to create a custom table and store those activities to generate a report?

Any help is highly appreciated.

    Hi,

    Since the providers of the custom SMS channel are third party ones, there is no OOTB way to see the related data.

    Maybe you could try to get the KPI data from the SMS provider.

    Or you can try the following feature.

    Create outbound text messages (Dynamics 365 Marketing) | Microsoft Docs

    However, it currently only supports in United States.

    Hi,

    Wondering if you made any process here in terms of serving KPI information back into the customer journey?

    I'm also needing to use a custom connector to send SMS due to conflicts with the OOTB options.

    Also, regarding your custom channel - were you able to use the OOTB SMS authoring tool to populate with personalisation parameters (eg. contact name and related data?).
