Trying to display total cost of the service or work order when the status is "estimated" but can only see when it is in "used" status

When we create a work order and put part and labors as " estimated" it doesn't give us the total cost of the service we get that only when put it as used.

But sometimes client demands the estimated price of the service.

What is the best process to achieve the result.

To create a Business Process?

I have the same question (0)

If you add work order products and work order services with estimated quantities and pricing, it aggregates the number on the work order summary:

Thank you for the answer but i cannot see that field in my summary. Is that to be custom made? or by default is there?

There is not a summary of the estimated cost in the work order.

Once the work order is posted you will the following in the actual table:

    - Resource Cost - Time Entry

    - Work Order Service/Product (Include Travel time/mile)

You still can rollup up the values from Work Order Products and Service to give you an indication of the cost. But I think it won't be very precise.

See attached video showing how you can add work order products and services in estimated state which shows the estimate subtotal on the work order main tab,

    A few follow up questions:

    1) In Field Service Settings, do you have "Calculate Price" set to Yes or No?

    2) On what record are you not seeing the price? Work Order, work order service, or work order product?

    3) You used both terms "cost" and "price." Which values are you trying to see (and on which record, as mentioned above)?

Thanks! With the above answers, I think we can get to clarity on this question.
