Issues went creating a payment with gift card (MPOS AX 2012 R3)

Hello, I tried to look for an answer on the forums but failed.

I've set up a gift card payment and I am able to issue it and so on. But when using it as a payment method and trying to use the giftcard it performs a partial payment, I cannot complete the sale in the POS after that, resulting in application error. Anyone encountered this type of issue when setting up any payment methods which create partial payments and then gets you stuck in the transaction?

    Did you have enough money on the gift card to make the purchase?

    Hi, yes the giftcard did have Money in it, when choosing to pay with giftcard it pops a numpad where i can confirm the payment but when performing the payment itself it get stuck in application error.

    Mannan,

    Can you check in your button grid that the "Pay Gift Card" button properties has an action "Pay gift card" and a payment type of "Gift Card"? The next thing you want to check is go to your store and under the setup tab there is a "Payment methods" select that and make sure that you have setup gift card as a payment method.

    Hi Ducle91, yes I had set all the config and set up as it should been done I believe (have set up giftcards before) and the card setup aswell by copying contoso data.

    It's like it cannot process the payment method once it's supposed to check out as a payment in the POS, instead application error is thrown.

    My other guess would be to check your hardware profiles. In the "EFT Service" fast tab make sure you're using Payment Connector and TestConnector to test your payments.
