Hi,

 I have a three users that are configured in purchase requisition workflow.

User1 = Submit workflow.

user2= review workflow.

user3=approve workflow.

after user1 submit the purchase requisition, user2 and user3 can edit the purchase requisition and adding a new line ( Even add line is greyed) by Ctrl+N, or move mouse down, or File New, and can add a new products.

how can we prevent all users from changing the purchase requisition except by using Request change from workflow

    Hello Mohammad Ismail,

    Are the reviewer and approvers people who just need to review and approve things in AX or do they also have other task / processes to record and execute?

    For the former, that is if they do not need to record and execute other tasks you can simply control that by the role that you assign those people

    For the latter, some additional information is required to see if a simple role change might help or whether some additional restrictions need to be put in place.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hello Mohammad,

    You can try whether setting up special roles for those people. This might take a while because - as you mentioned - they have also other tasks to do.

    As you are working in AX2012 you can, however, make use of the security development tool that helps you finding the correct menu items those approvers/reviewers should have access to.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Good morning - I'm looking to do the opposite; i.e.: give Reviewers permission to edit Purchase Requisitions, preferably just give them permission to edit one column of the req ("Procurement category")

    Would you have any information or resources I could refer to for how to do that?

    Thank you!
