    You've asked about this before:

Sometimes asking it twice makes more people hear it. And in this case you never answered his first question, only the second!

But the better way, instead of asking the same question again, is to "bump" the question - but not until - like in this case - after one week!

I don't see two questions in there, the only problem he's describing is about the extended stored procedure. Once that problem is solved there should be no more error message, at least not about the extended SP.

I am also experiencing the same error even after creating the two procedures. So he is asking two different questions.

I know that this thread is old but I found the same problem and after a lot of "solutions" I dropped both procedures and did them again. The problem was the path. DO NOT use any script to do it. Do it manually. Go to master database,Programmability,Extended Stored Procedures and create ne procedures. Write the name carefully.Select the xpo_ndoxxxx.dll file using the browser and then grant [public] with execute rights. Hope this helps cause it drove me nuts for a while.

    USE master

    EXEC sp_addextendedproc xp_ndo_enumusersids, 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Binn\xp_ndo.dll'

    GO

    USE master

    EXEC sp_addextendedproc xp_ndo_enumusergroups, 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Binn\xp_ndo.dll'

    GO

    GRANT EXECUTE

    ON [xp_ndo_enumusergroups]

    TO PUBLIC

    GO

    GRANT EXECUTE

    ON [xp_ndo_enumusersids]

    TO PUBLIC

    GO

******you know that you need to have xp_ndo.dll copied into MS SQL BIN folder******

You have to setup the stored procedures in SQL and grant them public permissions.

Read this article for a step by step on how to do it correctly:

I have the same problem BUT when I enter the path to the xp_ndo_dll and then click OK (after I select public user and put 2 check marks) and come back to see is the path still there, it shows me blank line like I didn't select any path. Do you know how to solve this problem?

    Hi Renato Fajdiga ,

    USE master

    EXEC sp_addextendedproc xp_ndo_enumusersids, 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Binn\xp_ndo.dll'

    GO

    USE master

    EXEC sp_addextendedproc xp_ndo_enumusergroups, 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Binn\xp_ndo.dll'

    GO

    GRANT EXECUTE

    ON [xp_ndo_enumusergroups]

    TO PUBLIC

    GO

    GRANT EXECUTE

    ON [xp_ndo_enumusersids]

    TO PUBLIC

    GO

******you know that you need to have xp_ndo.dll copied into MS SQL BIN folder******

and also if u r using Windows 8 or 2012 check for u r UAC settings and you need to be admin .

And u need to have read write permisions to the bin folder
