I've been working on an app in VS code and have deployed it to my sandbox environment a handful of times already. Just now, when i pressed F5 the deployment process started taking a long time. I waited for five - ten minutes and stopped the deployment, then cleared my credentials and tried to deploy again. This time I receive a message that says "Cannot install extension XXXX because another service is currently modifying the state of extensions on tenant".

Does anyone know how to get around this?

Something happened similar to me. Try to install it by removing an extension that duplicate the same change

And it's resolved. I started working on something else and came back fifteen minutes later to try again. Seems to have worked this time.
