How to change tenant ID in One Box dev machine

Hi,

We have downloaded the One Box Dev VM from LCS, however the dev machine would like to test the the Dynamics 365 on Azure Germany. The default VM downloaded from LCS is configured for global Azure, is there any way to change the tenant inside One Box Dev machine?

Thanks,

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Yuji,

Sorry a bit unclear with your question!!

Are you trying to change your tenant from Contoso.Global.com to Contoso.Germany.com ?

The d365FO gets the license registered using the default "Admin" you are using. If you want to use contoso.Germany.com tenant and register your one box VM on that tenant, Please follow the Admin user provisioning process docs.microsoft.com/.../access-instances

Remember to use the user account from Germany tenant like user1@Contoso.Germany.com to register in the tool.

    Hi Manish,

The URL in the One Box Dev VM is

    usnconeboxax1aos.cloud.onebox.dynamics.com

And we would like to register an application on Azure, and use PostMan to test OData call in One Box Dev machine.

It seems not working if we use the client ID and security that is registered on Azure Germany.

    Thanks,

Is there anyway to authenticate the log in user through Azure Germany AD instead of Global Azure AD?

    Hi Yuji,

Could you register your Azure germany user as the Admin account first and then try.

Provided you have admin access, run the admin provision tool from packageslocaldirectory/bin . It has an option to select the AAD location. I believe this was added for China but I assume Germany is there as an option as well.

Where can I find the environment ID?

What do you mean by environment ID? And is it somehow related to this question from 2019, which is already marked as resolved?
