I had a customer asking me about the time stamp on the reports dictionary, even though they are using GP and running reports, it seems the timestamp does not get updated. At what point should the timestamp be update on the reports or form's dictionary?
I have never had the date change on Forms.dic unless I went in and made a modification. On reports.dic, it changes anytime someone accesses it by running a modified report in GP.

Derek, I do not think I have ever seen the date change on FORMS.DIC. REPORTS.DIC change when report is used.
From what I can tell, with reports dictionary files, the date modified changes when I go into Report Writer for it.
I don't believe it'll change just by launching Dynamics GP and/or using a modified report.
Modified forms most likely work the same way.
