Fields are locked in the form assistant

Hello CRM 365 experts,

I have created a workflow to update a Lead record after a GDPR email is sent.

However, in the Lead form, there fields which should contain dynamic values could not be edited as they are greyed out.

I am assuming that I should be able to update these fields using form assistant, please see below image, the highlighted fields should be editable in the form assistant. How can I edit this field?

    Hi Jolas365,

This is all dependent on the main form properties. Let say... The column property is set to read-only on the form here it is following the same... You need to disable the property on the form first. Once it is configured (save & published). Now the workflow editor allows you to configure it dynamically... The form should be of type main and set to first in order.

If I answer your question then please mark it as verified.

Let me know if I can provide you with more details.

    Thanks

    Hello Abdul Wahab,

Thank you for your prompt reply.

I have already set the fields to editable and made the main Lead form first in the Form Order. However, the fields remain greyed-out and un-editable.

    Regards,

    Jolas365

    Hi Jolas365,

Check the behaviour of these columns. The must not be the calculated or rollup...

In all main forms disable the read-only property of these columns. Do not forget to publish each form or Publish all customization either...

After all of these. Open workflow again. Open the editor again. Only for the refresh option.

If I answer your question then please mark it as verified.

Let me know if I can provide you with more details.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Please check if any Business rules are running on your main form.

Try to deactivate and then check.

Also as suggested above please uncheck Field is read only option for these fields on all main forms.
