Converting an Opportunity to a Work Order

Posted on by 5

Can anyone tell me where the workflow lives that is tied to "Convert to Work Order" in Opportunities?  The issue I am having is when we convert to a work order the products and services transfer to the work order, which is great, but they come over as "Used" when we need them to come over as "Estimated".  Obviously if we're only at the phase of creating a work order none of the products or services should be in a Used state.  I wanted to see if this was something I could change in the workflow but I can't find it to save my life.  Any insight or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

When I convert an Opportunity to a WO, mine come over as Estimated.  Are you sure you don't have anything setup to auto set these to Used?

Not sure if theres anything you can do on the opportunity lines but you can always have a workflow which sets the work order products and services to estimated on create?
