I have Created 2 Trade agreement (Purch Price) for vendor with same configuration expect change the Price. but it always took the first Trade Agreement while search in the Purchase order.

can you please let me know how Trade agreement work if 2 Trade agreement Lines are active.

e.g.

first journal posted with 1st May 2017 to 30th May 2017 with $ 100.

Second journal Posted with 3rd May 2017 to 25th May 2017 with $ 95.

when I created Purchase order on 5th May 2017, it took $100 rather than $ 95. ( I believe it should take most Recent Posted journal if same lines found.)

Have you checked "Find next" on the trade agreement?

I agree with MWAT. You have to check the "Find next".

For trades agreement lines, the behavior is the following :

Find next check : Ax will cumulate all existing T.A lines

Find next unchech : Ax will apply the more specific T.A lines existing (e.g a T.A line setup for a specific item / specific vendor is prior to a T.A line setup for a group of item / specific vendor). If all existing T.A line are setup on the same level for item / vendor,  Ax apply the first one posted.

You may also check the main parameter in AR, under the Price section.

Have a look on Date Type setup.

Very often a small customization is made to auto close all open T.A when adding a new one for the same item level / vendor level to avoid this kind of issue.

I have checked find Next and tried but in it did not work. even I edited the lines from the View Trade Agreement from and created new journal with the same setup , but that values/Price is not fetching in the Purchase order, even modified journal/Price is not reflecting on the view Trade Agreement form and it fetches from the first posted journal only. we have decided to change "To Date"  through customization.

    Hi Nishant,

    First journal posted with 1st May 2017 to 30th May 2017 with $ 100.

    Second journal Posted with 3rd May 2017 to 25th May 2017 with $ 95.

Navigate to Item and trade agreements and edit prices, Try to update first posted journal

To date 30th may to 3rd may, And try create new PO now it will pick the correct price 100$, Always the activated price should not overlap the previous dates.

    Thanks

    Hi Nishant,

It always try to consider best possible price not most Recent Posted journal if same lines found.. and Find next check box is checked.
