Images not displaying in knowledge articles

Suddenly, we have knowledge articles that were published months ago that are no longer displaying images. When navigating to the KM Search window, clicking on the article in question, the read pain does not display. Instead, we are left with an error message such as this:

Any idea what could cause the image to no longer be available and how to fix it?

Hi,

This error indicates that images used in knowledge article content has been somehow deleted.

You will have to change the status to draft and make the changes to your knowledge article content and then publish.

Hi,

There could be multiple reasons why your record got deleted -

1. Manually deleted by the User

2. Automation workflow/plugin/power automate

3. Bug in the system
