"Ambigious match found" AX 2012 CIL Error

Hi all,

anyone have encountered this error upon full CIL?

I got this error upon working on software update checklist because I installed a hotfix. I have cleared all errors in ax full compilation and then proceeds to full CIL but apparently, I encountered this error. I already tried to look and compile on the affected resources but the code thas not have any error. Please help me on this one. Thanks in advance.

Hi Knives,

Perform the following steps,

1. Stop AOS

2. Clear the CIL source folder at C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics AX\60\Server\MicrosoftDynamicsAX\bin\XppIL\Source

3. Compile the full application

4. Generate full CIL

Let us know if this solved the issue.
