    Hi,

    I don't remember if this can be generated from 'Open in excel' option in AX 2012 !!

    Even if you do not get any standard report to display the supplier and corresponding address in ERP; you can still generate it from the system itself in excel. If you have any D365 environment available with you, just check there as per below steps.

    --- Go to Accounts payable > All Vendors form.

    --- Click on the Open in Microsoft Office and then select Vendors V2.

    --- From there, you have to click on Download.

    --- Then system will generate the excel. Once this is generated, you have to enable editing in that excel. Once the excel is enabled; it will fetch all the vendor related information from 'All Vendors' form and display in this.

    But in case, if you are not already signed in this excel; it will ask for sign in. Once this is signed in, it will automatically fetch the data from 'All Vendors' form.

    It will show you all relevant details including contact numbers of the suppliers if you have already maintained in detail in the 'All Vendors' form for each and every individual vendor.

    Kindly check and provide your feedback.

    Hello Vulnerable2003,

    If you open the global address book in the common module then you have a filter available for the role.

    Simply select 'vendor' and export all the records to excel.

    That should give you all the data that you are looking for.

    If you want to have the vendor id an name included in the export then you can export all of your vendors and map them based on the party id that you have in the global address book and in the vendor master.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hello Ludwig Reinhard;

    Though this thread was not posted by me but I was going through your post here and I have a question.

    I have followed the steps you mentioned but ultimately cannot see the Address of the supplier in global address book. This is actually the question which is put forward by the owner of this thread.

    Even I tried to add the address column but there is no way we can do this. I have paste below picture from d365.

    0878.JPG

    Then how come we can get the supplier address in global address book even though if I select vendor in Role field as you suggested?

    Hello Vulnerable2003;

    Could you kindly check the steps from your end what Ludwig mentioned. I just want to be sure that we are able to generate the list of suppliers along with their addresses from global address book and I am not missing anything !!

    I actually have the same requirement from one of the customers. I have already showcased the excel add-ins as mentioned by Sourav Dam in his post. But at the same time I want to know if same can be achieved through global address book also as Ludwig mentioned.

    Regards,

    Romaa

    Good Morning Romaa,

    Right. This is not a 'one shop stop'. In the global address book you can filter the vendors. As each vendor can have multiple addresses you would need to export and assign them in a second step. That is all manual and is probably done in Excel. Yet, I believe that this is still faster and cheaper compared to creating a new report just for this purpose.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Ludwig,

    I was able to successfully generate the vendors names from the Global Address Book.  How do I 'map them based on the party id that you have in the global address book and in the vendor master'?
