Edit the wordlayout of a report before saving as pdf

When mailing a Sales Order with a word layout, we want to edit this word lay out first before saving it as a pdf.  Opening the document should be done automatically. Saving the document, we think, by a confirm command.  Is there a solution in BC to do this ?

We saw already that you can edit word documents by using wordtemplates, but in my local BC23 version the edit function isn't visible and I don't know why.  You must setup something ?  Also this seems not a very easy way to edit only the worddocument.

No we didn't find the solution yet.  The issue is on hold at Customer sight.

As far as I know, this can't be done.
For Attachments and Word Templates, there is an Edit in OneDrive function, but this cannot be saved to PDF. More details: https://yzhums.com/38181/

    Thanks.
