BLOB - how to store image

I have a field that has a datatype=BLOB in Nav table. in the Page, I would like to set the initial directory/folder for that field. This way, when users right click onto the BLOB field, it will take them to this initial directory. How can I make this work?

If not possible, my workaround is to use file management CU's function OpenFileDialog. This will give me the physical path to the image. How do I upload the actual image of this file path into the BLOB field of my table?
