Dear Experts,
As we are aware of the functionality of manually uploading and processing Bank statement in 'Cash and Bank management>import Bank statement' we are looking for a solution to make this process automated which means the bank statement will be picked from a SFTP location and processed periodically. Request your insights on how these can be achieved with out of the box features and using Microsoft power automate only.

ER supports import from SharePoint https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/dev-itpro/analytics/er-configure-data-import-sharepoint#configure-access-to-sharepoint-for-file-storage but I don't think you can use SFTP without any customization.

We are going to use power automate to pick the bank statement from SFTP and place it in azure blob storage. Currently when done manually a batch class BankStatementimportBatch is excuted therefore all we need is to write a custom batch job that can pick the file from blob (placed by power automate ) set other parameters and trigger the class BankStatementimportBatch to do rest.
Please let me know your thoughts
If you want to modify that class you can work directly with SFTP, here is an example how to write a file https://stoneridgesoftware.com/sending-flat-files-from-dynamics-365-for-operations-to-a-different-location/ and it should give you an idea how to read a file from SFTP.
