Lead and Contact Record Matching Not Working

I have set up matching for the lead and contact records. The only attribute I am matching is Email.

When a Contact or Lead is found in CRM to have the same email, I do not want a new record created.

This is not working because duplicate contacts and leads are still being created from event registration despite having the same email. On the Marketing form itself I have it set up as well but nothing

I have found two hidden fields that are blank. Should these not populate with the strategy records I have created for a Lead and a Contact?

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

Again

1. I have create two Form Matching Records. One for Lead one for Contact. Both use Email

2. Under Event Administration I have set it up for Contacts to match on email (not sure why I need both)

3. On a marketing form I select Event Matching to be Email. The two lookups in my screenshot are hidden fields (OOB) and do not populate. Not sure if they should populate.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi partner,

You need to manually populate the match strategy you created. The two blank fields you mentioned above. Event matching here is not necessary.

The issue is that my Form Type is an Event Registration form. When you change the Type it hides those options

    Hi partner,

It appears that event registration forms can only use specific event matching strategies, contact and lead matching strategies are not supported.

Your Event Matching strategy field has a different value than mine, have you edited it? My default values are based on "first name, last name and email", I didn't make any changes to the active registration form, it works fine in my environment. I tried adding multiple accounts with the same criteria, but only one record was updated in the corresponding prospect.

(first name, last name,  email ) The information is all the same.

please check the result: only one 666.
