System Generated Dimension Attributes in AX 2012

Hi all,

I'm wondering if anyone can help with an error we are getting in the data upgrade from 2009 to 2012 R2.  The error is: The Dimension value for 0000007 for dimension SystemGeneratedAttributeCustomer does not exist.  It occurs in the Ledger Journal Trans upgrade process.

This appears to refer to the table DimensionAttributeValue, and it's right-- there is no value there that references the RecId for the DimensionAttribute record called SystemGeneratedAttributeCustomer.

Does anyone have a fix, or at least know at what point that DimensionAttributeValue record should have been created?  Or even just any insight into exactly what these new "System Generated" dimensions are?

    Looks like we had deleted a few customers somewhere along in the process and it was still looking for them for some reason.
