A jobs not syncing

I'm having trouble trying to figure out why my stores DB's aren't syncing A job data.

The A jobs are scheduled to run and are running. I even check on a stores DB and see that records are being updated by each A job. (Anywhere from 0 - 4000 depending on the A job).

One case I'm having, any new product we send to the store the barcodes come-up as invalid when they scan them. I verify the appropriate A job has made some record updates throughout the day. The only way I can get the barcode to work is to send the corresponding N job to the store.

In the little experience I have in DAX I know that the Process assortments(Scheduled to run once a day) and the Create actions(Scheduled to run every 15 minutes) jobs need be running. In my case they have been running consistently without error. What could I check to attempt in getting A jobs to sync correctly?

NOTE: I know A jobs can get out sync and the data won't apply. In a test I preformed I updated a store with the N job. Making sure it received all the A jobs consistently, new product was sent to the store. They tried scanning the new items and they would fail. This is what makes be believe A jobs aren't syncing the store DB correctly.

Hi, have you check the event log?

    Hi,

Have you checked the message databases on POS and AX Server?

    Kind regards,

    Josip

Apologies - That's what I meant when I checked the stores DB. Their messages show a random number of records were affected. No errors in the DB and no errors in the event log.

Try to check the Retail Store Connect database if the Batch was received. You can find a logs in IncomingMessages table, if there is no logs of were the batch are received. Then please refer to this link blogs.msdn.com/.../ax-2012-for-retail-items-now-showing-in-pos.aspx

    This also might help.

When I check the store Incoming/Outgoing messages I can see the job is successful, via status, and that specific table records are getting updated with data. But the POS isn't reflecting off this new data.

    Thanks again for the help.

I'm looking through the links you provided, but everything seems to be checking out.

well in this case, I would suggest you to backup store db, reinstall the db and restore the backup. then run all batch again. Then let see how it goes.

We tried a full DB restore from an empty shell on the store with no success.. :(   Looking deeper into my A jobs I noticed my A-1040 is the only job that includes Subjob's that don't have the "Replicate DataAreaID" enabled. All my other A jobs have this enabled. When I research this setting Microsoft suggest not to enable this. What are the communities thoughts on this? I'd like to test this, but we don't have batch servers on our DEV and TEST environments.

I actually came across this page. I should have said something about it as that's why I raise the question on what others think about this. Only because Microsoft suggests not to use this setting. I'm doing some testing right now. We'll see if this fixes.
