Managing returning employees or employees who have change department

Posted on by 260

HI we are curently using field service to track our staff schedule and timesheet.

So each staff profile is used as a bookable resource.

Here is the issue, when a staff resigned and join back another programme or department, the data would be inaccurate, because this staff should not be under the previous record count.

Is there a way for returning employees to use the existing user account (System User), for a new Therapist Profile (Bookable Resource).

Reason because likely the Azure user principal name or email address should still be the same.

Alternatively is there a way to manage reutnring employees or employees who have changed portfolio or department without giving them a new user ID?

e.g. Adam_Tan ; return Adam_Tan01

Thank you

Hi Leah and everyone, beg your pardon.

The objective is simple. We want the returning employee to be treated as an entirely new staff even if she/he has the same email address.

    for e.g

Adam Lee (resigned) - HR Dept - 6 hours

Adam Lee (returned) - IT Dept - 5 hours

Adam Lee's hour should not be 11 hours.

    Hi Fusion,

Maybe you can try to restore a user:
