I have a custom entity displaying as sub-grid on Account entity. I would like to know now to setup the quick create form to display on the right pane when selecting the "New Record" + icon. I already added Account as the default required field, but when I select the add new record button, it directs me to the main record page of the custom entity instead of the quick create form right pane display. How do I set this up?

Have you activated "Quick Create" for your entity and added "Quick Create Form" to your application?

Thank you for the reply. Yes my quick create form is active and I also have the allow quick create on the entity. Any futher feedback greatly appreciated.

Can you please confirm that Quick Create form is the part of your app - docs.microsoft.com/.../add-edit-app-components
Agreed with Andrew , when you create custom entity by default the custom entity will not add in your app automatically in dynamics 365 unified interface , even if you choose Sales module check box from entity information pages. For that you need to go to app designer and add the entity. By default all forms will be added.
Follow below steps -
1. Go to app designer -
2. Add Entities
3. Select entity
4. Do publish and press ctrl+F5 entity forms .
