Need help with writing extension for the posted purchase invoice

Hello,

While debugging we noticed that on the Posted Sales Invoice -> Statistics there is a method exposed for an extension, so that we can write the sales tax amount line. Does anyone know where we can write the tax lines to the Sales Tax Amount Line table for posted purchase invoices?

I have the same question (0)

You cannot and should not write lines to a posted document of any kind.

Hi, I totally agree with Kim, in BC you cannot modify data such as amount and quantity after posting. If you need corrections, please use Credit Memo.

But Microsoft provides solutions to modify other non-critical data, such as Payment Terms, shipment method solutions, you can extend it.

    More details:

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.

Thanks.  I think the issue is that the tax details  get displayed on the purchase invoice

But disappear after the purchase invoice has been posted.

Hi, Have you tried the method below? The shortcut key is F7.

    Hello ZHU

Thank you very much. Yes we want to add the data while the temporary sales tax amount lines are filled in for the statistics window on the Posted Purchase Invoice. On the Posted Purchase Invoice, Statistics we don't have the method exposed for us to populate temporary sales tax amount lines.

Posted Sales Invoice has it so we can write extension (line 68 from Sales Invoice Stats.dal)

But the same is missing for Posted Purchase Invoice
