Error while run "Collect Now" tool in the lifecycle services Environment discovery

Hi All,

I have run "Collect Now" tool in the lifecycle services Environment discovery and got the below list of errors in the event viewer.

1. Collector OA_Workflow_Parameters(SqlCollector) failed to run against target :Invalid column name 'REQUIREEXPLICITUSERASSIGNMENTTOLEGALENTITIES'.

2. Collector IWM_Setup_WMSPARAMETERS(SqlCollector) failed to run against target :Invalid column name 'MCRALTPICKING'.

Invalid column name 'MCRDEFAULTCALENDARID'.

Can anyone suggest the solution for that? or should I ignore it and move to the next step? Please guide me.

    Hi Nimisha,

    You're trying to set up the upgrade analyser for the AX2012 to Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations upgrade correct?

    So you're in the middle of the diagnostic service setup, running the first collection when you get those errors:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/unified-operations/dev-itpro/lifecycle-services/ax-2012/install-run-system-diagnostics-lcs

    The WMSParameter fields you're getting errors on don't exist before R3, so I assume you're upgrading from an earlier version. You can see when fields were added in the online reference: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/dynamics/ax-2012/reference/gg930592(v%3dax.60)

    The WorkflowParameters never had the column 'REQUIREEXPLICITUSERASSIGNMENTTOLEGALENTITIES' in AX2012, but it does in 365.

    Is it possible you're running a 365 diagnostic against a 2012 environment or vice versa?

    Hi,

    Thanks for your update. Actually , I am new in D365 upgrade and I am doing upgradation from AX 2012 R2 to D365. I follow the below link :

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/unified-operations/dev-itpro/migration-upgrade/upgrade-overview-2012

    Also I have run the steps as per the link which you have provided for diagnostic service and getting errors while run this tool againt the AX 2012 R2 environment in the event viewer.

    You are right that this fields are available in AX 2012 R3 version not in AX 2012 R2 version. Is there any solution or go to the next step? Please suggest.
