Hello Gurus,

I have some question about the Goal and Goal metrics, hopes to receive some insight

1. Changing Environment Currency:

We initially set the environment default to Vietnamese Dong (VND). Is there any way to switch it to US Dollars (USD) without creating a new environment?

2. Setting Goal Metrics in VND to Track in USD:

My goals are in USD, but I because the environment default is VND. How can I input USD in the goal to track or I need to do the math outside with the conversion rate?

3. Future Goals in USD with Revenue Tracked in VND:

What happens when my future goals are in USD, but revenue is tracked in VND? Will it be tracked and change the number based on the conversion rate, or will it skip because different currency?

Hello viet561995,

1. Changing Base/Environment Currency: The base language and currency can't be changed once the environment is initialize.

2. Setting up Goal Metrics: The metrics only do sum/count action on the number field (can be a currency) so if you want to calculate the revenue in USD, you need additional code. (where you will calculate the metrics in VND and using automation convert in USD)

3. Future Goals and Revenue calculation: While setting up goals, use the base currency field (always in VND as per base/environment currency) so that even if you enter in USD, CAD, AUD or any other currency, the base will always be in VND based on exchange rate setup in the environment.
