Show Opportunity Close Description( Activity) on the Account Form

Dear all,

Is it possible to show "Description" field from "Opportunity Close"(Activity) on the Account Main Form?

As one  Account can have multiple opportunities, idea was to show all related Opportunity Close Activity "Description" for the selected Account.

But I am not sure if this can be done within view or report.

Kind regards,

Smiletich

    Hello,

I don't think you will be able to do it the easy way using pure customization so I would recommend to use Custom Page/Html WebResource/PCF Control for that goal.

    Hi smiletich,

Account and Opportunity is 1: N relationship, Opportunity and Opportunity Close is 1:N relationship.

Maybe you can use power automate(https://us.flow.microsoft.com/en-us/) to retrieve related 'Opportunity Close' records to get value from description field.

Then create a new field in account to store them.

    Dear all,

Thank you very much for your replies.

Idea with the flows helped me to find the solution.
After all I decided to show Opportunity Close Description in a Note on the Account Timeline.

So every time when Opportunity Close is triggered, i will use a Flow to create a new Note.

On the picture bellow are the steps.

In 2nd and 3rd step I wanted to get related Account ( to be able to reference him in new Note so that Note will be created in the Account timeline)
Here i first got related Opportunity -> and than Account from the Opportunity.

In the last step I create a note and reference the Account.
