I want to installa the last hotfix for Dynamics NAV 2015. We have modified several codeunits and attached fields to standard tables. Should I have problems installing the hotfixes? For Example , I have inserted a line in codeunit 90. Could the hotfix delete my changes? Best practices for do this? Thanks

You can not directly install the hotfix or CU's when there is customization in database.

You need to compare the objects and then upload the new object.

If you import the hotfix or Cumulative updates directly yes you will loose all the customizations so you need to merge the changes.

If the hotfix you have only few objects then you can use a text comparision tool to merge.

you need to merge the changed objects with latest objects of hotfix.

if you directly import then your changes will be deleted.

you need to take help of someone who is experienced in this process.
