Has anyone know how to remove or change the acces level on ''Delete'' button in the customer form.  I removed the duty and privileges on the customer form so that a user cannot maintain the customers but the ''Delete'' button still appear and function as if there are no relation to the privilege that is linked to maintaining the cusotmer form.

    Hi DaveCho,

You can go to AOT find your table , right click -> Add-ins -> Security Tools -> View related security roles. In that form you can see all roles that gives delete access to this table. Please check that your user does not have one of them.

    Hi Dave,

Can you also explain what you mean with "removing duties and privileges on the customer form"? What exact steps did you perform in your attempt to revoke access rights?

    Hi André,

I removed the Duty ''Maintain customer master'' for the role that I am testing.   I noticed even if you remove that duty the ''Delete'' button remains in the form although the EDIT, ADD got removed.  Also, I used the ''Development tool'' to see what privilege is related to the ''Delete'' button and made sure it is not part of the role that I am testing.

I noticed the same pattern on the Vendor, Customer, Purchase Order and Customer Order.  So, in essence, whe removing the duty associated in maintaining the vendor, customer, PO, CO the ''Delete'' button remains in the form and a user who  is not suppose to have access to maintain those forms can delete the information which does not make sense.

    Hi Dave,

Have you tried the option as ievgen suggested? You can also go to the security roles form in the System Administration menu. Then select the role and click on Override permissions. On this form you can see the actual table permissions for this role as a result of all duties/privileges. Check if the tables do have too high permissions set. You can also override it using this form.
