Sales Unit Default at SQ, SO Creation

When creating a new sales quotation or sales order, there is a dropdown to declare a Sales unit.  In some scenarios, the Sales unit will default in, but in some it will not.

What data point drives the default setting of Sales unit?  Is it a data point on the customer, worker, or user?  Or is there a supplementary table that needs to be setup?

My user/worker does not belong to a Sales unit on the Sales and marketing--> Setup--> Sales management--> Sales unit/team supplementary table.

I'd have to debug to give a solid answer, but I don't have AR enabled in my environment, yet.  It looks to me like it can come from either the table in the form you mentioned, or the SalesAgreementHeaderDefault.

Not 100% sure where to get to that table from the UI, but my guess is that you'd be initializing the salesUnit from the "default record" in that table OR you just removed your sales unit from the "sales unit/team supplementary table", but the value is still cached.

Sales quotation will get the Sales unit of current worker

Define Sales unit in "Sales and marketing > Setup > Sales management > Sales unit/team".

All, I was able to find the answer to my question.  I should have posed the question differently, so let me re-phrase.

If I move myself from Sales Unit #1 to Sales Unit #2, Sales Unit #1 defaults in at SQ, SO creation.  How do I save the change I made and get Sales Unit #2 to default in?

The answer: close out of AX.  Upon re-opening, AX will save the change, and Sales Unit #2 will default in.
