I´ve tried to finde out how ofthen i have to update the NAV 2013 R2 windows client without any success. Maybe the community is able to answer this questions:
- Is a windows client update needed every time i install a Hotfix or Update Rollup at the server? We know CRM already an there is no need to update the client every time because the gurantee upward compatibility. Is it the same with the NAV Windows Client?

It is depend upon the Roll up but it is advisable to update the client with the server. there is no automatic upward compatibility option in NAV.

We have to replace/Update windows client files, if there are any changes in rollup in all client machines..
