I made a behavioral scoring model but it seems like it's not working like I imagined. I also think that I'm having a hard time in understanding how the time windows should be working out.
Here is the full list of actions I'd like to score:
- Newsletter Subscription: Marketing Form Submitted is [WEB] Newsletter form (Group 1) - was triggered at least once in the last 2 years (+5)
- Website visit (1 page a week): Marketing Form Visited is [WEB] Newsletter form (Group 2) - was triggered at least once in the last 7 days (+3)
- Website visit (4 pages a day): Marketing Form Visited is [WEB] Newsletter form (Group 3) - was triggered at least 4 times in the last 1 day (+4)
- Website visit (6 pages a week): Marketing Form Visited is [WEB] Newsletter form (Group 4) - was triggered at least 6 times in the last 7 days (+2)
- Landing Page Visit: Marketing Form Visited is NOT [WEB] Newsletter form (Group 5) - was triggered at least once in the last 7 days (+4)
- Email opened (Group 6) - was triggered at least once in the last 1 day (+3)
- Email clicked (Group 7) - was triggered at least once in the last 1 day (+5)
Seem like my issues are coming from Marketing Form Visited triggers.
I cheat for this, as I'm trying to score website visit by using marketing form visited triggers because I have the newsletter form on the footer of my website (so on every page).
My lead score distribution should be a lot different than what I get - it is hard to go past 6 pts :
