How to create plugin (compulsory) to add employee into subgrid after update project?

Hi,

I have a field named Member (text field, can't change into lookup). After updating, I want to write a plugin to add the employee into the subgrid but I don't know exactly how?

Please give me clear explanation because I'm new.

Hi Huong,

You need to build up 1:N relation ship between your project and Member entity first. A new field will be created in Member entity which is a lookup for Project.

In the plugin, you may create a new member and connect to the right Project record.

Hi Huong Gau,

I think based on your requirement we can use WORKFLOW to create related Records.

Go to Advance Setting by selecting Gear icon at the top, then Select Process and Create Process for Member Entity

And Use Create Record for Employee Entity Based on Member Record

Make Sure You select Scope of Entity as RECORD FIELD CHANGE
