HTTP request in Dynamics 365 Marketing customer journey

Hello,

I need to perform HTTP requests as a step of a Dynamics 365 Marketing customer journey.

Are there any tiles or third-part components that I can use in order to do that?

    Hi Giulio,

    To perform HTTP request in customer journey, you need to create a custom channel tile:

    Once contact goes to the tile, it will trigger creation of  "custom channel activity" entity record.

    So the it is easy to integrate HTTP request with flow, but it may takes a hour to set up the custom tile.

    Please read the documentation with patience to understand how does whole process work.

    Have you checked my shared links?

    I believe the custom channel tile would be the solution for you, please let me know if you have any doubt or if you have encountered any trouble when configuring XML and CSS.

    Here is XML and CSS of my custom tile:

    It creates a custom tile and will post twitter when contacts go to the tile.

    I followed all your steps and was able to set up a custom channel within a customer journey, which starts a Power Automate stream that makes HTTP calls. Thank you very much for the suggestions, very useful and precise.

    But I am unable to do two things:

    1) Have custom channel activity appear as an interaction on the contact record. I have set up a workflow same as the one in the example, but the interactions are not tracked in the contact details.

    2) I don't understand how to intercept responses ("Sent", "Delivered", "Keyword match") in the journey. How do I get this information? From the Power Automate stream?

    In the journey I added some "if" tiles, but I don't understand in which Dynamics record I have to save the status coming from the Power Automate flow gateway, to be then processed by the journey's "If" tiles.

    I would be very grateful if you could help me with this. Thanks so much!
