Editing Status Reason on Close form

I have edited the Opportunity entity and for the Status Reason field I have edited the Out-sold option to read Withdrawn.

Also I have hidden the Actual Revenue field on the Close form.

Saved and then Published the changes, now when I go to Close as Lost, the field I have hidden doesn't appear but the options in the Reason option set haven't changed and I am still getting Out-sold as the default.

Been back in and checked and my changed are still saved.

Any ideas on how I get my changes to the option set to show.

Thanks Mike

    Hi Mike,

When you wanted to hide the Actual revenue field you went to the Opportunity Close Entity, you should do the exactly same thing with the status reason.

you need to update the option in both the Opportunity and the Opportunity Close Entity.

    Hope I answered your question.

I cannot edit Status Reason in the Opportunity Close entity

One thing I have noticed is that is you close an opportunity as lost and select Out-sold when you use the Lost Opportunities view it shows as Withdrawn. It is as if the drop down on Opportunity Close hasn't refreshed.

This is driving me mad - have now found that if you go into Advanced Settings - Settings - System(Administration) - System Setting, click on Sales Tab at top then scroll down to Customize close opportunity form there are Yes/No radio buttons, if you click on No then my new edited options show, but if you click on Yes they don't show. I need to have Yes selected as I have a lot of custom fields in my Opportunity entity.

    Absolutely stumped now :-(

I have now found if you add the extra options by going into the Close form and edting the field it works from there rather than trying to do it directly in the entity

Strange, but I was able to do it by directly editing the entity
