"Reserved Ordered"

I am having some issues with items being in "Reserved Ordered" status and not shipping through advanced warehouse. We have sufficient stock of the items and it will partial ship because the remaining stock is in Reserved Order status. Any ideas what is being done on this and how to resolve it?
