Dataflows into Solution in Maker Portal

1.  In the Maker Portal, why can't you just CREATE the dataflow in a solution?  Why do you have to create it under the environments Dataflows and then try to Add Existing?

2.  More immediately though:  When I create a Dataflow in the environment then publish it and then create a solution and go to add existing and choose Automation | Dataflow, it doesn't show any Dataflows inside or outside.

3.  If I have a published Dataflow in one environment and then create a new environment shouldn't I then see it as an Outside option when trying to add existing?

    Hi,

I'am afraid that I can't reproduce your problem in question2 and I recommend you to check if the dataflow was published successfully.

For question3, the dataflow you create is still based on dataverse and stored in the dataverse, so it dosen't belong to"Outside Dataverse" .

Thank you but very little of my questions were addressed.

We can focus on questions 2 and 3...

    Hi,

To your first point, it is designed by developers and the following are some limitations about using dataflow in solution.

I tried to create and publish a dataflow in one environment and it can be added into the new solution successfully.

The following link shows more detail about the transfer of dataflows between environments.
