Sales order line price details, trade agreement section

I have found what looks is inconsistent behaviour in the details populated into the sales order line /price details/, when the user taking the order belongs to a call centre.
My understanding is the section /trade agreement/ under /price details/ is meant to reflect the trade agreement details in full which were used to determine the /sales order unit price/
However if I have an agreement set up for an item where the combinations in the agreement lines has say an agreement for /site/ & another line for a combination of /site & warehouse/ for Example
Product A, Site 1, price $20
Product A, Site 1, WHS 2, Price $19

If a sales order is created for site 1 & whs 2 by
  • a user not attached to a call centre, the price details trade agreement section specifies the /correct price and also references the related dimensions of site & warehouse
  • a user attached to a call centre, the price details trade agreement section specifies the /incorrect price and does not reference dimensions of site & warehouse
If using Price Details for checking pricing selections, it appears to be missing critical details of site and warehouse required in the search of trade agreements to validate what pricing is being incorrectly referenced in the /price details/.

Note, sales line unit price looks correct, it is just the referenced price details that are not, when a user is attached to a call centre
The referencing differs purely based on whether a user is attached to a call centre or not.

Has anyone noticed this?
Has anyone reported the same issue?
Would it concern a client that price details trade agreement details are inaccurate and possibly incorrect?
I have the same question (0)

    Hi MXC-2,

A call center is technically a retail channel that has a link to a warehouse. Can you check which site and warehouse is linked to the call center?

Please note this relates to "Price Details"
    Trade Agreement

non call centre order, correct sales line price
Access "sale order line" "Price Details"

Non Call Centre right price and specifies site and warehouse

Call Centre Order for same customer/item/site/warehouse (user must be channel user)
Sales Line unit price is correct $96.10
Trade Agreement references a price of $98.10 which is the price that has not site or detail as per trade agreement screenshot (it is not the correct reference and not the price on the sales line)
The "Potential Trade Agreement" has price of $96.10, which is in fact the same as the sales line unit price, but no site or warehouse details are specified.
The "trade agreement" section should have a price of $96.10 and reference site "East" and "Atlanta" in same way as "Non Call Centre" screen shot above

Whether the retail channel is attached to the same warehouse as put on sales line should not be an issue and does not resolve the issue, a call centre user can take sales orders for different site and warehouse and the correct pricing should be referenced. Hope this helps in better understanding the issue

    Hi MXC-2,

I thought that in the case of a call center, it would retrieve the site and warehouse from the retail channel settings. A warehouse is mandatory on the retail channel. Like you, I wonder why the site and warehouse are empty on the sales order line. Have you checked what warehouse is set up on the call center? Could there be a data security in place where some settings are not visible for users and for that reason the site and warehouse is empty?

Andre , thankyou for your input, appreciated.

I exhaustively tested and the issue is the system is behaving differently, purely because of the origin of the sales order. Trade agreements and pricing results are clearly defined by site and warehouse inclusions, the sales orders lines pick up the "price correctly" from trade agreement, but incorrectly populate the details to the sales line "price details" as advised in last post.

Importantly, it has since been recognised as a bug, with a fix is in the pipeline for 10.0.40

    cheers Matthew

Thanks for your reply MXC-2. Also a great learning for me that this is a bug to be solved for 10.0.40.
