AX2012: Intercompany and direct delivery return orders

I have setup intercompany between 2 companies.

the normal flow works fine, even with direct delivery on the SO.

But when want to work with return orders, I have a problem.

I created a return order, and selected "autocreate intercompany orders" and "direct delivery".

The PO and IC SO are created, so far so good.

But then I can't receive the goods: update line / registration is not enabled (this works with normal return orders)

How can I receive the goods from the customer, so that I can send them back to the other company ?

When you create intercompany return orders, the default behavior is for the system to assign the same RMA number to the intercompany return order that is assigned to the original return order. There is a possible conflict when the RMA number is already being used in the intercompany company. To avoid set up  the number sequence for return order numbers so that when two or more companies participate in an intercompany relationship,  they use different number series for return orders. For example, the first company’s number series for return orders could be “RMAA####” and the second company’s number series could be “RMAB####.” Then, automatic assignment and synchronization of return order numbers will work.
