hi
we have an 3rd party edi tool integrated to D365.
And we have a scenario where the sales order pick qty was updated with, 30 picked and 30 cancelled, which is correct. But the status of the order did not process as expected to delivered.
when we check the deliver remainder on sale line, we can see the 30 that where not picked, but the cancel remainder is greyed out?
should we even see the deliver remainder of 30, when the sales pick line was updated correctly with 30 picked and 30 short?
any ideas?

Hi Raff,
These lines should be correct. Can you check if both lines do have the correct InventTransID (Lot-ID)? It should be the same and matching with the InventTransID value on the order line.
Hi Raff,
Usually, the picking list is updated with the quantity picked. I do think the additional line is indeed incorrect, but I don't know where and how exactly this line is inserted. Can you possibly share a screenshot?
Hi andre
The original sales quantity was 60
The warehouse picked 30, the edi dev then is splitting the sales pick and confirming 30 and on the other pick line cancelling 30
Not sure the additional line to cancel the 30 is required?
In fairness we dont want a back order quantity remaining but if edi dev dispatched the order and the order status is delivered, does that clear the back order?
Hi Mal,
Was the original quantity set to 60 where a picking list was created for 30 or 60? Did you check if there is still an open picking list? If so, this one might block you from updating the delivery remainder.
